Fix the Mouse
When not using the wiimote for the mouse, the emulators pointer seems to have it's own X Y coordinates that are separate from the game pointer X Y coordinates. This has caused the game pointer to get stuck if the X Y coordinates of the emulator pointer hits an edge. Get rid of the Emulator X Y coordinates and have the controller move the game pointers X Y coordinates continually even if it goes past the edge. This should also apply when using the wiimote but there should also be a button that disables the mouse movement until you let go of the button so that you can reposition the pointer kinda like when using a real mouse you lift it off the mouse pad to reposition it. SNES9X GX occasionally freezes while loading
When I load SNES9X GX from the HBC, the screen will fade to black as if the application is booting, but nothing happens. My Wii becomes unresponsive and I end up having to restart it. This happens randomly, maybe 1 time out of 10. The rest of the time it loads successfully. Calebyte 19:20, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Sound bug on all snes9x gx (Fixed)
The game Soulblazer german have no sound. I have found the bug in the spc700.h
- define ONE_APU_CYCLE 21
please change 21 into 14Sascha8192
- What version were you using? Snes9x GX 007 uses 1.51, which doesn't have ONE_APU_CYCLE in spc700.h. ONE_APU_CYCLE is from snes9x 1.50, used by 004 and older. Have you tried this on 007? --Tantric 19:33, 4 December 2008 (UTC)
ok sorry my fault I use now 1.51 (007)Please add in the memmap.cpp under the menupoint: //// APU timing hacks match_na('SOULBLAZER 1 GRM')This Game works good with 13 or 14 Cycle.
Random screen flashes
During playing Killer Instinct random white flashes appear on screen, they occur about 5 minutes every time.TunaLover
State saves got failed randomly (Fixed)
Save states got error during long gamming sesion, this problem is pretty random too, could require game generated saves to avoid lost your progression, it happen to me while I was playing Super Metroid 3 times now. TunaLover
SRAM size issue (Not a bug)
The normal size of Earthbound's SRAM is 8.00KB. This emulator adds an addition 0.50KB to the size of the SRAM. (The reason why I mention this because it increases the enemy encounter rate and makes the game harder.) If something can be done, then please fix it as soon as possible. If nothing can be done about it, could I please get an explanation what that extra 0.50KB is and why it exists.
- The extra 512 bytes is a header, and is not part of the SRAM. The header is not passed through to Snes9x. --Tantric 20:31, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
Previously working roms now freeze in 007 (Fixed)
roms that previously worked fine are now super slow or freeze. in my case Mario RPG during battle mode.
Display frame rate (Fixed)
On 006, this doesn't work, (or at least I have it on and I don't see anything) Arromdee 02:56, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- This option has been completely removed. --Tantric 06:33, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
ROMs on DVD don't work on 005 version (Fixed)
It's a bug of compiling option. This will be fixed in next version --Yod4z 24 september 2008 12:00 GMT+1
Nunchuk D-Pad orientation (Fixed)
When using remote+nunchuk, the controller preferences orient 'up' to 'right' on the dpad, etc etc, as if you were holding the remote sideways. this is not the most obvious configuration when using the remote. Even though the preferences screen list the directions as the correct orientation, when applied to the gameplay, it is using the 'dogbone' orientation. --Nago 21:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Menu Background (Addressed in Redesign)
I have major trouble seeing where the 'cursor' is in the menu, because it's flat white and the cursor doesn't do much to darken the active choice. It's possible this is just my eyesight that's the problem, or my TV (I have similar issues in Smash Bros. Brawl's online waiting room), but in any case I find it very hard to see what games I'm picking and so on. Is there any way a darker background or cursor or some other way to alleviate this could be done? FCEU and VBA both work great for me due to having something like this.--GespenstM 05:51, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
Map Funtions to Z1 and Z2 (Rejected)
How hard would it be to map a function to the Z1 and/or Z2 key on the classic controler? For example Z1 could be 'save state' and Z2 could be load state'!--ajiuo 08:03, 02 November 2008 (UTC)
Four Players with 2 wiimotes and 2 classic controllers? (Rejected)
I think it would be a brilliant feature if two players could use wiimotes and two more could use attached classic contollers - fantastic for bomberman. --Sammystag 13:25, 1 November 2008 (UTC)
.Smv support? (Rejected)
I think .smv support might be a nice touch... Is it a possible one, though?--Taioko 11:07, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
Turbo (Rejected)
Would it be possible to make the turbo go faster, it seems to only make it run at 1.5 - 2.0x original speed and think that it should go more around 5.0x to 10.0x original speed. But maybe that's just me.
I agree, it should go faster. It would help get past past those annoying slow startup screens and cinematic faster. Chosen One 41 00:16, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
Exact 2x display mode (Rejected)
Would it be possible to have a mode which just doubles the pixels and produces 512x448 inside a 640x480 screen? (I have no idea if the Wii can produce 640x480 though...) Arromdee 02:56, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Two mode for selecting ROMs (Addressed in Redesign)
Can it be possible to have two ROMs selection mode like:
- ROMs listed with the file name (like actually)
- ROMs with image of the game. Like screen shoots of each game file of with an image blank for game without screen shot available.
--Yod4z 23 september 2008 22:12 GMT+1
- I'd really like to see a vastly improved ROM selector. I've been tossing around ideas about how to do this, and what to do, however. It would be really nice if someone started a website with a database of game metadata with full game names, description, release year, game category, CRC(s), region, screens, cheats, etc etc. This applies to all game systems. Maybe someone will set this up and allow the public to maintain it. If I had a database to draw data from, I could work wonders with the ROM selector. --Tantric 20:50, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- Tantric, look up GoodTools on Wikipedia. --SquidMan 23:46, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Mouse support
In the features list, you mention 'SNES Superscope, Mouse, Justifier support' but I can't see anything like that within the emulator. Are you sure it's in there? Am I missing something? Or is it a 005 feature that is being worked on? Grayda 06:32, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
- Yes this support are only available on 005 but the 005 is comming realy soon, i think so ;) --Yod4z 13:58 GMT+1
- Thanks for the reply. Just out of curiosity, how is the mouse controlled? Via the Wii remote with IR functionality? Or is there enough USB support where we can plug a USB mouse in and use it like a regular SNES mouse? Grayda 03:17, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
- The mouse and superscope are controlled by the Wiimote's IR. It could be a demand to futur release to add support for real USB mouse -Yod4z 11:46 GMT+1
- I would love to see real USB mouse support. My girlfriend is very keen to relive some Mario Paint memories on the Wii ;) Grayda 00:50, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- What exactly are the controls for Mouse Support? A = left click and B = Right click? And what is a 'Justifier'? Deozaan 21:05, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- Justifier are lithgun like the superscope but from Konami. I don't have time to try other game using mouse button to see if B is the right button. You can add controls change in the snes9x page if you can try game using two mouse button. Yod4z 11:36, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

RTOOL
Where do you get RTOOL? I can't find it.--Suwiite September 12, 2008
smb share
I can't figure out how to set it up, it keeps coming back with an error every time I try to load off the network. --Dyamalos 08:55, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
- Since the code between the GX emulators seems to be pretty similar, maybe you'd be well served by checking out the http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Talk:FCE_Ultra_GX#Can.27t_use_SMB_.28Resolved:_Use_Wifi_for_now.29 FCE Ultra GX talk page for some information on SMB.
- Assuming the above suggestion doesn't help - it would help if you were more specific. What's the error? --Tantric 20:52, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Why does this apps has a icon in the peripherals ?
I was hoping that it is because you could play over internet but nothing say anything about that in the description (or I didn't see it). --Gerome 11:42, 30 September 2008 (UTC)
- Simply Wifi mean LAN, SNes9x can load ROMs from SMB then he can use the wifi connexion. The Internet use is marked by icon. --Yod4z 15:18, 30 September 2008 (GMT+1)
IPS patch
I thought I already posted this here, but apparently I posted it at the GX 1.43 talk page. My bad!But yes; there's no mention at all on how to load IPS patches. Loading an IPS by itself gets 'unknown file type!', understandably, while loading the required ROM with the IPS sharing its exact file name just gets a code dump. Do they need to be zipped inside the ROM, do specific measures need taken, is it possible to have multiple patches for one game...? --JeffreyGoldfish 19:07, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
- This is covered on the Snes9x page, albeit not in-depth. It should be the same name with a .ips extension. Code dump means either the patch is bad, or I've done something wrong in the emulator. I only tested a few patches, and they worked for me... No, you can't have multiple patches per game, unless you make a copy of the game rom and name your second IPS with the copy's name. --Tantric 19:38, 6 December 2008 (UTC)
Doesn't get it...
'By default, cheats are loaded from '/snes9x/cheats/'. Cheat files must be placed in the cheats folder and named identically to the ROM name, except with a CHT extension.'
Snes9x Gx Cover Png Files
What I doesn't understand is how cheats should be placed there with the game name, since alteast I doesn't have a computer where you can copy text to a folder. I've tried by puting the cheats in a document using Notepad and ending it with '.CHT', and even by chosing Notepad as the standard program when opening '.CHT' files. KingMario 13:59, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
- Check the Links section for websites with CHT files. Then you take that cht file, and if your ROM is Super Mario World.smc, name it Super Mario World.cht. --Tantric 17:42, 19 December 2008 (UTC)
